Whitney Houston was born as Whitney Elizabeth
Houston on August 9, 1963 in Newark, New Jersey
and has achieved a great success in her music
career in 80's and 90's. Whitney became involved
in music already being a child, because her
mother in cooperation with other people were
Gospel - R&B singers.
When
Houston was 11 years old she began performing
in gospel choir and and few years later Whitney
started fashion modeling as well. 80's are known
for her as the beginning of music career, when
Houston released her debut album and created
quite a number of hit singles. For example,
"You Give Good Love", "Saving
All My Love For You", "How Will I
Know", "Where Do Broken Hearts Go".
After that in 90's she continued producing songs,
but this period of her life is the filmography
time. Houston developed her acting skills in
such movies as "The Bodyguard" (1992),
The Preacher's Wife (1996), Cinderella (1997)
and "The Princess Diaries " two parts.
Whitney
Houston is know for drug addiction as well.
In the year 2000 she was discovered having a
marijuana. Despite that she went on a treatment
and still is a famous American musician, who
has got many sales, charts and international
records.
In
July 1992 she got married to Bobby Brown and
the couple has got a daughter Cissy Houston,
which is a gospel-blues singer.
Whitney
Houston established The Whitney E. Houston academy,
which is located in East Orange, New Jersey.
