Calvin Cordozar Broadus was born on the 20th
October, 1972 in Long Beach, California, USA
and is a world-famous rapper, who is know Snoop
Dogg (previously it was Snoop Doggy Dog).
Snoop Dogg has had his interest in music, when
he was a child, by singing in a church choir
and gradually started seeing himself in the
rap style of music. He was connected with drugs
and criminal already being a teenager and, finding
himself in rap music, he became violent and
aggressive towards other, where he ended up
in a prison few times.
His
first music album "Doggystyle" was
recorded in 1993 in cooperation with Dre. The
album got an astonishing success and its singles
became number one in the charts, mostly in UK
Charts. The next album was created in cooperation
with rapper Dat Nigga Daz and Dj Pooh and it
sold approximately 2 million copies.
Snoop
Dogg had achieved a world fame and his performances
were very popular and crowded. He has worked
with many other world known rappers and has
developed his acting skills by appearing in
quite a number of different movies through the
time.
His
filmography includes such movies as Da Game
of Life (1998), Hot Boyz (1999), Bones (2001),
Whasango (2001), Baby Boy (2001), Starsky &
Hutch (2004), Racing Stripes (2005) (voice),
Boss'n Up (2005).
