Lima Bio..
Adriana Lima was born on June 12, 1981 in Salvador,
Brazil and is considered to be one of the best
Brazilian supermodels.
Adriana
Lima started her modeling career in early 90's
at the age of 13, when she was discovered by
fashion agents in a shopping center. In the
next couple years after it, she achieved great
recognition on the Brazilian and soon the global
fashion world. She also won such fashion contests
as the Ford Supermodel of Brazil model search
(was 1st) and Ford Supermodel of the World contest
(was 2nd).
Adriana
has appeared on major world fashion magazine
cover's, such as Cosmopolitan, Marie Claire,
and has done fashion shows for Valentino, Christian
Lacroix, Prada, Gucci and others. Additional
to that Adriana Lima has been a face for different
cosmetic and fashion brands (Bebe, Maybelline,
BCBG).
Adriana
is probably most famous for being one of the
Victoria's Secret angels since 2000, working
alongside fashion
models like Heidi
Klum, Gisele
Bundchen and Alessandra Ambrosio.
In
the year 2001 the Brazilian model has also started
her acting career by playing a part in the movie
called "The Follow".
