author know worldwide. Some of his more popular
books include "The Alchemist" and
"Veronika Decides to Die". Paulo Coelho
is a Brazilian novelist, who was born on 24th
of August, 1947 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
In his 30's he left Brazil and devoted his time
to traveling through Peru, Bolivia, Mexico,
North Africa and Europe. During this period
of time he was involved in different communities
and Christian groups, that influenced his view
on life and on his writing style.
Coelho
has sold more than 65 million copies of his
books in more than 150 countries throughout
the world.
Coelho
has gained quite a number of different literature
awards including the nomination for International
IMPAC Dublin Literary Award for book Veronika
Decides to Die.
Coelho
is married to Christina Coelho.
