Famous American actress Uma Thurman (Uma Karuna
Thurman) was born on April 29, 1970 in Boston,
Massachusetts and is of Swedish and German descent.
Her father Robert Thurman was a professor at
Columbia University and it was him who made
a great impact on Uma as she moved house lots
in her childhood due to fathers job.
Thurman's
mother was a model as well and in late 80's
Thurman was a professional model, but her debut
movie "Johnny Be Good" came in the
year 1988. The most popular movies that made
Uma famous are Kill Bill (2003/04), Gattaca
(1997), Pulp Fiction (1994), Dangerous Liaisons
(1988).
1999
to 2003 was a silent time for Uma's film career,
but in 2003 she returned with successful"Paycheck"
and "Kill Bill".

She
was married to Gary Oldman (1992-1992) and to
Ethan Hawke (1998-2004).
