Terri Irwin is the wife of the famous Crocodile
Hunter Steve
Irwin. She was born as Terri Raines on July
20, 1964 in Eugene, Oregon, the United States.
She now lives in Australia with her husband
Steve in the Australian Zoo. The couple were
engaged just three months after meeting and
were married on June 4, 1992.
Terri, like her husband was introduced to animals
as a child. She has volunteered with zoos and
in 1986 worked in the animal center "Cougar
Country" with foxes, bears, bobcats and
many other animals. She has completed veterinary
and wildlife studies.
The
couple have 2 children: Bindi
Sue Irwin, who was born on July 24, 1998
and Robert Clarence Irwin, who was born on December
1, 2003. Both kids are involved in the Crocodile
Hunter TV series and are always in contact with
wild animals.
Terri
and Steve Irwin own the Australia
Zoo at Beerwah, Queensland, Australia. The
couple are famous for the popular documentary
series on wild life "The Crocodile Hunter",
which has gained an astonishing recognition
and fame on a global scale. Their first featured
movie "The Crocodile Hunter: Collision
Course" came out in the year 2002.
