Teri Hatcher (Teri Lynn Hatcher ) was born on the 8th of December, 1964 in Sunnyvale, California, USA. She is a famous American television and movie actress. Her cultural heritage is part Irish, Native American and Italian.

Teri Hatcher began performing as a child by taking ballet lessons and acting classes at the American Conservatory Theatre. During the 1980's and 90's Hatcher had performed in quite a few of television series and small budget movies, but her major roles included Lois Lane in "Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman" and the very popular television series "Desperate Housewives" in 2004. Some of her co-stars in Desperate Housewives include Marcia Cross, Felicity Huffman, Nicollette Sheridan and Eva Longoria.

Teri Hatcher was one of the highest paid American actresses in 2006. Along with her acting career, Teri has written her own autobiography about life, herself and her loves, called "Burnt Toast: And Other Philosophies of Life".

Hatcher was married to Marcus Leithold between 1988 and 1989, then to Jon Tenney between 1994 and 2003. She has a child called Emerson Rose (born 1997).
