The famous British-Australian actress starring
in "King Kong" and "21 Grams"
is Naomi Watts, who was born on September 28,
1968 in Shoreham, Kent, England. At the eight
of 14 she moved to Australia. Naomi's parents
got divorced in 1972 and after 3 years her father
died. Naomi Watts had a difficult childhood,
but it was not an obstacle for her interest
into performing and acting.
She
achieved a popularity on a global scale just
recently despite there were many attempts to
do it already in late 80's. Naomi Watts studied
performing in few acting schools and got her
best friend Nicole
Kidman, who is a famous Australian actress.
Naomi
Watts first appeared in the series Home and
Away (1988), but a significant turning point
was 1995 when "Tank Girl" came out.
However Naomi became popular worldwide just
recently when she starred "Mulholland Drive"
(2001), "21 Grams" (2004) and "King
Kong" (2005).
Naomi
Watts was named on several world listings of
celebrities, for example, 50 Most Beautiful
People by People Magazine in 2002, Sexiest Female
Movie Star in the Australian Empire Magazine
September 2002.
