Hollywood star Kate Hudson was born as Kate
Garry Hudson on April 19, 1979 in Los Angeles,
California to Jewish and Italian parents (her
mother is Goldie Hawn, a half Anglo-Saxon and
half Jewish, an actress, but father is Bill
Hudson, the son of Sicilian immigrants, a musician).
Kate has got half sisters Zachary Hudson (born
1986) and Emily Hudson (born 1982), and three
brothers: Wyatt Russell, Boston Russell and
Oliver Hudson, who is an actor as well.
Already
in her childhood Hudson has been interested
in performing and dancing, and later Kate has
graduated the Santa Monica performing arts school
(in the year 1997). Her film debut was in 1998
playing a role in Desert Blue, however the first
significant movie was Almost Famous (2000),
which became a turning point to her career as
an actress, as she was awarded by Academy Award
for Best Supporting Actress.
Kate
Hudson has been not just a Hollywood actress,
but is involved in film producing as well, for
example, 14 Hours (2005), Sleight of Mind (2006)
and Can You Keep a Secret? (2006). Alongside
in the year 2003 Hudson has established the
production company Cosmic Entertainment.
Kate
Hudson has been ranked in the world listings
of beautiful woman and biggest celebrities,
for example, '50 Most Beautiful People in the
World' by People Magazine in 2000, VH1's 100
Hottest Hotties and Stuff magazine's "102
Sexiest Women In The World" in 2002.
Since December 31, 2000 she has been married
to Cris Robinson and the couple has got a son,
Ryder Russell Robinson, who was born on January
7, 2004.
