Catherine Zeta-Jones is a famous Hollywood actress,
who was born in Wales, United Kingdom in September
25, 1969. Her mother is Irish and father is
Welsh and she has two brothers.
Catherine
Zeta-Jones started developing her actress and
dancing career when she was a child, by dancing
in local performing troupe. Her debut movie
was made in France and was called 1001 Nights
(1990). She then went on to build her world
reputation through acting in movies like The
Darling Buds of May (1991), The Mask of Zorro
(1998), Entrapment (1999), Chicago (2002), and
Intolerable Cruelty (2003).
Catherine
has won the Academy Award for Best Supporting
Actress for the movie Chicago in 2003, where
she also showed her dancing and singing skills.
Alongside her acting and entertaining activities,
she is involved in advertising and modeling
for different world known fashion magazines,
a cosmetic company (Elizabeth Arden) and mobile
phone company T-Mobile.
Catherine
Zeta-Jones has developed herself as a dancer,
actress and also as a singer (when she released
the singles 'For All Time' in 1989, 'In the
Arms of Love' and 'I Can't Help Myself' in 1995
and the David Essex duet 'True Love Way). Her
music career was never fully pursued and was
never a great success financially.
Since
the year 2000 Catherine Zeta-Jones has been
been married to the famous actor American actor
Michael Douglas. The couple have two children:
daughter Carys Zeta Douglas (born 2003) and
son Dylan Michael Douglas (born 2000).
Catherine
is considered to be one of the world's most
beautiful woman and has been listed on VH1's
100 Hottest Hotties, Most Beautiful People and
Yahoo! Internet magazine.
