Steve
Irwin is a world famous international TV star
and known as the Crocodile Hunter, the documentary
about the environment and the crocodile wild
life.
Steve
Irwin was born as Stephen Robert "Steve"
Irwin in February 22, 1962 in Essendon, Australia
and already his parents (Lyn and Bob) ran the
Reptile and Fauna Park in Queensland, Australia
(Steve became the owner of it in the year 1992).
That made Steve becoming more interested into
the nature and wild life and since he was at
the age of 9 Steve and his father were catching
crocodiles in the rivers in Queensland.
Right
now Steve owns the Australia Zoo in Queensland,
Australia, which is attracted by tourists around
the world.
His
wife is an American born nature protector Terri
Irwin who has cooperated with Steve in the
documentaries on the nature and animals and
in saving the wild life. Steve and Terry Irwins
have made a large number of the Crocodile Hunter
series and diaries through the years and the
first feature film was released in 2002, named
The Crocodile Hunter: Collision Course.
The
controversy was seen when Steve risked with
the life of his children by making shows with
different wild animals, including crocodiles.
The
couple has got two children: a son Robert Clarence
(December 1, 2003) and a daughter Bindi Sue
(July 24, 1998).
